This is the setting for our holiday cottage “The Grange”.
Herefordshire is a hidden gem, surrounded by fantastic counties such as Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Monmouthshire and Powys. Having explored our magnificent county, simply plan a day out and within an hour you could find yourself in Gloucester, Shrewsbury, Worcester and Mid or South Wales.
A very spacious 3 bedroom house (1 kingsize four poster bed; 1 double bed, 2 single beds). Comfortably sleeping 6 adults.
Almost every room has panoramic views of the countryside and with favourable weather you will see glorious sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Just perfect for a Countryside getaway or alternatively as a base to explore the enchanting region.
Our animal farm park: Visit, view and take home too! We sell poultry (point of lay hens, ducks, bantams, quail, and guinea fowl), pygmy goats, alpacas, ouessant sheep.
Our Wynnes Countrystore: A wide range of products, including items you may have forgotten to bring.
Walks: There are footpaths in three directions as you leave the house gate; one of which takes you straight to Queenswood itself with all its wonderful flora and fauna.

Hereford Cathedral. A magnificent cathedral housing the famous Mappa Mundi and chained library.
National Trust Properties: Berrington Hall near Leominster, Croft Castle Yarpole, Brockhampton at Bromyard. All very delightful.
Eastnor Castle near Ledbury – a fairy-tale castle in a wonderful setting.
Ludlow Castle – the remains of a medieval fortification in the town of Ludlow.
City of Hereford: In addition to the aforementioned Cathedral there are also museums, shops, chain stores, popular restaurants and an Odeon multi-screen cinema.
Market Towns: Leominster, Ledbury, Bromyard (famous for its Gala and Folk Festival), Ross on Wye, Kington, Hay-on-Wye (famous for Hay Festival).
Villages: Quaint Black & White Villages such as Weobley, Pembridge, Eardisland.
Other Herefordshire attractions close by: Golf, Ten Pin Bowling, Traditional Country Pubs, A wide range of Restaurants (including take-away & home delivery), Horse Riding, Fishing, Garden Centres, Gin Distillery, Cider Makers, Museums, Swimming pools.
