The Speckledy, is a modern hybrid originally from and closely resembling a Maran, however its prolific egg laying sets it leagues above its predecessor.
Usually, they will produce chestnut brown eggs some of which are speckled, although it is not uncommon for them to lay lighter shelled eggs.
They have an average yearly production of 250 eggs.
They are docile natured and great for keepers with small children. Generally, these birds are quite small compared to their fellow Hybrid breeds.
Their speckled marking vary slightly as there are three different types of Hybrid Speckledys.
All our Hybrid birds are fully vaccinated against common poultry ailments, as well as from mareks, coccidiosis, infectious bronchitis and salmonella to mention just a few.
They are reared to R.S.P.C.A. Freedom Food Standards.
